I came to Daisy Hill Hospital for the birth of my baby boy. The delivery itself went well and all the members of staff were incredibly lovely and supportive throughout the experience.
Up on the Maternity Ward itself the staff have once again been very supportive. I have everything I need here and the staff are always there for you if there is anything at all that you need. Any communication I have had with members of staff has been very good. The staff all have a great attitude to their work and are very attentive in the care that they deliver.
There are a couple of staff that I would like to particularly mention. Firstly, Grainne who was on the ward last night was absolutely lovely to me. I would also like to mention midwife Lavina who was with me during the delivery itself. However, all the midwives I have encountered have been fine.
I have no suggestions for improvement - except maybe that the downstairs café should open on a Saturday as well as on weekdays.
