"Outstanding service"

About: Downe Hospital / Urgent Care Centre

(as a parent/guardian),

Outstanding service. My 18 year old daughter had to attend Downe Hospital Urgent Care Centre with a very painful swollen eye. Dr Faulkner and the team were absolutely fantastic. As a parent I was unable to attend with my daughter because of covid restrictions but my mind was put at ease as I was kept informed of treatment, conversations about referrals to RVH and follow up care by phone. My daughter could not have been better looked after and felt very comfortable in their care and at no time felt treatment was rushed even though we arrived at closing time.

Am totally baffled why so many people complain about the NHS as our experience was  second to none. Thank you all for your continued caring, empathetic and tireless work you all do  from both of us, and especially a big word of thanks to Dr Faulkner.

Hi beidph69

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Great to hear how Downe Hospital's Urgent Care Centre has worked so well for your daughter.

Your positive feedback has been shared to Dr Faulkner and the team and is greatly appreciated.

I hope that your daughter is recovering well.

Best wishes
