"Kind and compassionate stroke support"

About: Specialist Therapy Services / Community Stroke Team – South Notts

(as a service user),

I suffered a stroke in April 2022.  I was admitted to the quick stroke unit and discharged after 3 days - when I became involved with the care team. From all members involved I received excellent service and I felt that the team really cared about my welfare. In particular, Alice, who was the team member I saw most, was very kind and compassionate & gave me excellent advice & help whilst also providing me with practical items to help my physical disabilities. Many thanks to everyone involved!

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on the service you received from the Community Stroke team. It is really important to us that our patients, families and carers let us know how well / or not we are doing in order that we shape the delivery of services to become as patient /family/carer centered as we can.

Thank you for your kind comments about the support you received from the team and in particular Alice. I will ensure that the team and Alice receive your thanks and praise.

We wish you a continued recovery and all the best for the future.

Kind Regards

Claire Lee

Community Stroke Team Lead
