I got an appointment relatively quickly, this is and has always been the case for me. Even through Covid delays just being able to speak to someone about my symptoms was comforting to know I was being listened to. My only gripe is that waiting for the phone to be answered could take such a long time, but if you are patient enough you can still get the answer you need. I have been with this practice for a very long time and even through GP and practice changes my care has never been hampered by the way the practice is run. So please keep doing the great work you already are.

We are pleased to learn that you have had a positive patient experience and where an appointment has been required, this was quickly arranged. It’s good to know that you consider that we are the best and to keep up the great work that we are doing.

Beacon Medical Group received over 700 daily calls on average between January and April 2022 and this increased to a daily average of over a 1000 calls on a Monday. We do ask, where possible, that our patients contact us using our online services and this frees up the telephone line for those that are not able to do so.

If patients are experiencing any difficulties using our online services we do have Ipads available in our reception areas and these can be used with support by our Front of House team members if required. Prescription requests can also be made using these.
