"Helpful around work commitments"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

I received therapy from Inclusion Thurrock with Rebecca. This is the third time that I have attended therapy with Rebecca and once again, the care I received was excellent. I was able to join the sessions remotely, which was helpful around work commitments.

Rebecca listened in full to my issues, drew on her previous experience of working with me to understand these and helped me to develop effective techniques for recovering.

When going to therapy for the first time or returning to therapy, it can feel daunting and embarrassing to talk about all your issues, but Rebecca put my mind at rest and I felt at ease to be completely open, which enabled me to really get to the heart of my issues and work through them. Although it's necessary to talk about the things that are causing distress, Rebecca has a way of making this feel much easier and lighter than I would have expected it to be.

This experience has helped me enormously and I'm so grateful for the care I've received.

Dear Niamh,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

I'm glad you have found the work with Rebecca has helped you every time and that having your sessions remotely fit well with your work commitments as well.

I can see you have an excellent rapport with Rebecca, yes it can be daunting to start therapy, but you trusted your therapist and that helped you to feel at ease, to get to the heart of your problems and work through them, developing effective techniques for recovering. You should be so proud of yourself for the hard work you put in, and how much you have reached so far.

I'm sure Rebecca will be so happy knowing you felt much easier and lighter talking in your sessions with her than you would have expected it to be.

Congratulations, keep up the hard work!

J. Isabel Saunders
