"Thanks to the staff for their respect and dignity of patients"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

I have been having difficulty swallowing and lots of indigestion.  Every day using medication to treat heartburn/acid reflux and indigestion to relieve the pain. Also have reflux and heartburn.

I was getting very worried. I saw my GP and got an emergency appointment in 7 days very impressive. I was very scared of the procedure having had this done over 10 years ago.

The staff at Boston Hospital were so caring and kind. They made me feel so comfortable. The doctor was excellent carrying out the procedure. The staff were second to none.

The diagnosis is a large 4cm sliding hiatus hernia. It's something that may require an operation but that's okay. It will be keyhole. I am so relieved it wasn't something more sinister.

The care I received was second to none.  I thank all the staff very much for their respect and dignity of their patients. Well done. I am so grateful.
