"Treated with kindness and care by everyone"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I had to attend Accident and Emergency due to chest pain during the night. I was very apprehensive about going due to reports of horrendous waiting times.

Fortunately it was not as busy as I expected and I have to say from arriving at reception till being discharged, I was treated with kindness and the care was first class from every single member of staff I came into contact with.

Nothing was a bother to anyone and I was made to feel at ease and in very safe hands. It was greatly appreciated.
