"111 cant give me dental appointment"

I have just tried to make an appointment via NHS 111 service to be told they cannot make an electronic referral at this time and that I should self present at BDH which is contrary to the instructions on the dental hospital website. I have a fully broken tooth with jagged edges and all the symptoms of a painful abscess forming and on antibiotics. I have been calling everyday for last 5 days. They have sent me to local dentist who said we can only send referral can't help with emergency appointment it's very confusing information what do I do
