"Ward 13"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Gynaecology (Ward 13)

(as a service user),

I cannot thank the staff of ward 13 enough for their care and attention during a recent weeks stay. Was taken in and had to have emergency surgery on my bowel. A very scary time, but the staff were all amazing, each and every 1 of them. A very traumatic time being separated from my 3 week old baby and my family, but the staff were always there with a smile and for support. I will be forever grateful and will never forget their care, a truly amazing team, each and every one of them. I cannot thank them enough!

Dear blackbirdst56

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us about your recent experience at University Hospital Wishaw ward 13.

It can be a worrying time attending hospital for a procedure, especially when separated from your baby. I am delighted you experienced and witnessed the extraordinary care our teams deliver every day.

Your positive feedback and thanks will give the team a much needed boost and I will be sure to feed this back to them.

I hope you are recovering well, and enjoying time with your baby..

Thank you

Karen
