About: North Devon District Hospital / Radiology (X-ray) North Devon District Hospital / Urology

(as a service user),

I was referred by my GP earlier this year to North Devon Hospital, Barnstaple for investigation of Prostate with prominent urgency symptoms. 

Seen in clinic within a couple of weeks by Dr. Stephen who examined me and put in place a plan of action that has responded quickly and magnificently.

MRI scan within ten days, a follow up phone call from Dr Stephen one week later, Bone scan and CT scan followed within the following weeks.  

I have been incredibly impressed with the whole experience and feel very supported by all the specialist staff so far involved in my care and treatment.

All situations, appointments etc have been handled sensitively and with great professionalism. I feel I could not have experienced better support and care and am incredibly grateful for the quality of our NHS services here in North Devon. Many thanks to you all.

I have worked in the NHS for over 35 years as a senior Medical Secretary in various specialties. I currently work in the Urology Department providing PA services to the clinical team.
