"Amazing Podiatrist"

About: Borders Community Services / Podiatry Borders General Hospital / Podiatry

(as the patient),

I have plantar fasciitis and have had it for over 2 years, I referred myself to see a podiatrist- which was Amy at Hawick Health Centre.  I was back and forth to Amy, she was really good trying help and ease my pain.  Always phoned when she said she was, always done exactly what she said she was never just said it to make me feel better.  Managed to get me referred to BGH first experience wasn’t great.  So a got back in touch with Amy and she got me referred again, which I got a cortisone (still no better).  So I have recently been in touch with Amy again who got me in for another appointment and I’m now waiting on an X-ray. I feel I need to express that although my foot is not much better, Amy has never gave up and is always willing to help or advise me.  Worth her weight in goal - NHS are lucky to have Amy working for them as she is great at her job, above and beyond!!
