"Appreciate the care in A&E"

About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Emergency department

(as the patient),

I was a patient yesterday in A&E Altnagelvin and was quite unwell. I had a temperature of 40.1 and a very fast heart rate so was placed in a cubicle in the covid area. I was looked after so well by Dr McCloy and Staff Nurse Julie . I was very scared due to feeling so unwell and they couldn’t do enough to put me at ease. I got my appropriate scans, blood and treatments all quite quickly. I can’t thank you both enough for looking after me so well and putting me at ease. I really appreciate it.
