"Extremely poor experience "

About: Newham General Hospital

Visited A&E after taking advice from out of hours GP. Given I have recently had major bowel surgery and was experiencing persistent vomiting there was a concern of bowl blockage. Firstly the security at the door was extremely rude to my wife. We realise there are different protocols due to Covid but I expect that everyone is treated with common curtesy and respect. I was then waiting for 6 hours before I was seen. Once I was seen and got an X-ray etc the whole thing probably took an hour overall but the wait to be seen was horrific.
