After being brought into A&E at FVRH around 10pm, I was seen in a timely manner by Stacey the triage nurse who was excellent and took me straight through after suffering with what look liked possible sepsis.
The nurse who looked after me Jill was also superb as was Dr Azad, both pleasant and caring people. Nothing was too much hassle for any of them during which was an extremely busy night for them and a scary time for myself. They were right on top of the infection.
I was moved to AAU, where the care wasn’t great, I was left for an hour and 45 mins with no bed in my room and was sat in a chair feeling dreadful and dizzy. Everything felt like too much hassle for some of the staff. Thankfully I was moved fairly quickly to ward B32.
B32 was an Absolutely brilliant ward, one nurse in particular called Lynette was so professional, friendly and nothing was ever a bother. She came into the room and checked up on me regularly. Made sure all my test results were chased up and really just a brilliant nurse. I know all to well how under pressure and stressed these nurses etc are, so thank you to A&E, B32 and particular Staff Nurse Lynette from B32.
"Excellent care"
