"Wonderful care from nursing staff in ward 8A QEUH"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Elderly Medicine (Wards 51, 52, 54,55, 57, 8a & 2a)

(as a relative),

My dad was looked after by very caring and kind nurses during his final illness in hospital. They were wonderful to my family and myself during a very difficult time and always sensitive to how we were feeling. I can’t thank them enough. The ward was always busy but the nurses managed to ensure my dad was looked after really well. It was all the little things that mattered.

Dear coinht85

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to your dad's care while he attended the Elderly Medicine Department.

I was sorry to hear of your dad's illness this must have been a really difficult time for you and all the family.

I was however, glad to hear the staff looked after your dad well and kept all the family informed during his time here and in a compassionate and professional manner.

I will make sure the staff received your feedback and please take care.

Kind regards

Kevin
