About: Sexual Health Services - North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

I called desperately trying to get contraceptive patches but was only offered an appointment in 2 weeks time. How the hell am I supposed to prevent pregnancy if no one will give me any form of contraception and relays on me having enough money for condoms. Utterly disgusting

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the service you received. I'd like to apologise for the difficulties you are having with accessing our service. The demand for our services are very high and therefore there are times when we are unable to offer patients appointments as quickly as we would like to meet patients' needs. Your GP should also be able to provide you with contraception, have you contacted them? Our clinics can issue you with free condoms - our website gives you information on where our clinics are situated - www.openclinic.org.uk/clinics.
