"First Class Treatment"

I was admitted to Ward 3 on 22/06/22 for a pre arranged major gynaecological operation. The care I received from every member of Staff was first class from the moment I entered the Ward until I was discharged later that day. They made me feel at ease, explained step by step what was the order of the day and kept me informed throughout. I was especially impressed with the meeting I had before Theatre with the Surgeon and the Anaesthetist. They explained what was going to take place in a manner which was comforting and very reassuring. Hexham General Hospital is immaculate and even though I had to travel 40 miles to get there, I would not hesitate to return should the need ever arise in the future. I am now on day 4 post operation and feel my recovery is going very well. Many thanks and keep up the excellent work you all do.
