Yesterday I received a scheduled hip replacement. It has been in the pipeline for a while so I am grateful that I am on the right side of it now. It went well and I want to thank all the theatre staff for making it a really easy experience. The staff in the ward are super- they make you feel at ease and have a ''nothing is a problem'' attitude.

The orthopaedic ward is very clean and the food is good. I feel I have been kept in the loop regarding my care and a plan has been put in place to ensure my full recovery.
