(as a service user),

For the attention of the Business Services Organisation and the Western Rural Healthcare Group - Newtownstewart.

I was wrongfully de-registered from GP and NHS for over 3 years without even being told about it - I had no GP, No valid Health and Care Number and no entitlement to NHS treatment - I only found out about this when the local Hospital was going to bill me for all appointments and treatments.

I don't have the words to describe the absolute anger, fear, anxiety and real inconvenience this has caused!

This is an absolute scandal!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us in relation to accessing healthcare in NI particularly with reference to a GP. This has clearly been a very difficult experience and I acknowledge the concerns you raised. I am sorry to learn that you were not informed of any decisions regarding your registration with a GP. There is also telephone number detailed for further support (028 9536 0333).
