I am 15 weeks pregnant and had been suffering from a crippling headache/migraine and sickness. Having tried to get through to a midwife, gp and other services I had been unsuccessful so called 111 who dispatched an ambulance after I didn’t receive a call back.
They affirmed that I’d done the right thing by contacting 111 and for them to be sent out and supported me by contacting the midwife and GP services directly to get me the support I needed and completed their checks on me thoroughly and sensitively.
I cannot fault the two female paramedics who attended. They were considerate, thorough, supportive and totally empathetic of my pain and situation. I wish I’d have thanked them more, they’re an absolute credit to the NHS and to the ambulance service and I’m so glad they were the ones that saw me.
"Outstanding service "
