About: Beacon Medical Group

In line with the general opinions of Doctor surgeries today Beacon Medical are quite good. It does take a while to get through to the Receptionist but when you eventually do I have found them to be very polite and helpful. Sadly it is a sign of the times and times have changed and we have to accept that due to staff shortages, sickness etc nothing will be like how it was pre COVID. I would recommend the Surgery to friends.

We are pleased to learn that you consider us to be a good practice and would recommend the surgery to your friends.

Beacon Medical Group uses a total triage system that was introduced in November 2019. Patients provide information or a query and based on the medical urgency, the patient will usually be contacted within two working days. If a face to face appointment is required, this will be arranged.

We do ask where possible that our patients contact us using our online services as this frees up the telephone lines for those that are not able to. We do understand that not everyone has access to do this and we are able to offer help using our Ipads in our reception areas to do this and to order prescriptions.
