"Amazing staff in labour ward"

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the wonderful staff in the labour ward at ayrshire maternity unit. I was admitted at the beginning of June and delivered my daughter the next morning. My named midwife was Rachel - she could not have done any more for me and I felt completely safe under her care. I was so glad when she got to deliver my baby before the end of her shift, I really couldn’t have asked for a better midwife! She even got me some aromatherapy oils which was such a lovely touch and helped relax me.   

Also thank you to the 2 charge nurses who helped out that night, both so lovely. The dayshift was Tracy and I’m sure her student was called Gemma - both of them were absolutely fantastic also! Gemma will be such an asset to your team when she qualifies! 

Thanks also to the amazing medical staff who assisted with the delivery, can’t remember everyone’s names.  You all made my first labour such a positive experience and I will forever be grateful for this.
