"Consultant appointment "

About: North Middlesex Hospital

My wife and I visited maternity services on 20/06/2022 it’s was our first consultant appointment having been pregnant. We thought it would be a nice experience in fact the opposite. Our appointment was meant to be at 10:15 and was 11am and still no way has seen us. We have had to rebook as it’s shambles and we are stressed as we have have to work

Dear Anonymous,

Congratulations on your pregnancy and thank you for your feedback.

I am sorry to hear that your antenatal experience within the hospital was not as you had expected. Within the antenatal clinic there can sometimes be delays and the team usually inform all pregnant women, birthing people, and partners of any delays. I am sorry that this did not occur on this occasion. I will feed this back to the team so that we can ensure that women, birthing people, and partners are informed if there is a delay in appointment time.

Once again, my apologies that your antenatal experience was not as it should have been and thank you for providing this feedback so that we can continue to monitor our service and patient experience.

Kind regards,

Nicole
