I accompanied a friend to A&E, and was impressed by the high level of care provided, and the compassion and understanding it was delivered with.

I am a mental health clinican myself, and I hope any service user I meet will be met by the same level of compassion and professionalism should they ever seek crisis support in A&E. We were seen in a timely manner - given an extremely hectic department, all staff were kind and compassionate, they were ensuring my friend had food and something to drink, and a good level of support was put in place. This must have taken multidisciplinary liaison, all out of hours, but was all arranged quickly and efficiently. Thank you for your kind help and hard work.
