"Brilliant community nurse"

About: Community Child Health / Children’s Community Nurses

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter had a cancer diagnosis and needed a community nurse to come out twice a week to flush her medicine line and change dressing. Lois from North Belfast Community Nursing was brilliant with her. She was friendly and patient so my daughter trusted her immensely. She learnt what way my 7 year old liked things to be done so my daughter was calm and relaxed during the visits. Will be forever grateful for her kind and caring nature to us all.

An absolute credit to the Belfast Trust.

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment on the care your daughter received from the Community Children’s Nursing Service, and specifically Lois, and for your kind words.

We are delighted that we were able to support your daughter and you as a family with her treatment and that the nursing care Lois provided was delivered in a way that was calming and provided reassurance.

We value all feedback from the families we support and I hope your daughter is keeping well and making good progress.

Thank you.
