I recently had an ankle replacement in Glasgow Royal Infirmary and would like to thank all the staff for the fantastic care I received. In particular the medical staff including the lovely anesthetist who managed to give me an anesthetic which for the first time ever did not result in me being very sick/faint post-op. My pain control post op has been unbelievably good considering the surgery I have had. The Nursing staff in ward 27 were lovely but extremely busy, regardless they were very caring and my discharge plan went really smoothly.
I'd like to give a special mention and thank you to Debbie, Mr Kumars secretary. I had a long wait for this operation due to the COVID pandemic and Debbie was so kind and understanding. My calls were never a bother to her and she always got back to me if I left a message, thank you Debbie you really made a difference to my overall care and made the long wait tolerable.
"Great care"
