"Helpful receptionist"

(as a service user),

I would like to congratulate the young member of staff on the reception at Wallacetown Health Centre for his professionalism in dealing with my appointment . There was a mix up with the time of my appointment and Gavin was working the reception desk.  As there was no nurses available at lunch time I would have to wait about 45 minutes to be seen.  I said I would wait in my car in the car park until 2:00 pm.

Within ten minutes of waiting Gavin came out to the car park looking for me.  He knocked on the window and said the nurse would see me now as she had returned from her lunch early. I was seen by the nurse and on my way, great service.

Hats of to that man .

Feedback is very valuable to all areas of the NHS, and I'm sure their staff will be delighted to hear that your experience there has been positive. As each GP Practice is an independent business, we would recommend that you feedback your experience directly to the practice to allow this to be passed on to the staff. The Practice Manager can give you with details of how to provide this feedback to them, as per their Complaints and Feedback Policy.
