"Appalling treatment"

 Appalling service from a doctor who didn't read the notes and discharged me when I still have extreme discomfort in my throat. They did a ct scan my nose not my throat which is the main issue and the reason for referral. He handed me a leaflet for an anti acid diet none of the foods on the list I ever eat so irrelevant ; he hadn't even read my notes which state I have had a course of anti acid medication which made no difference. It is not satisfactory not to persist in finding a cause when I am in great discomfort and to then tell me to go and get more comprehensive allergy tests at a health store at my own expence for goodness sake or move out of polluted London so I am back to my doctor. Very poor specialist who clearly isn't interested in reading patients notes and just wants to discharge. Doctors like this let the national health service down. Shame on ENT dept who do not listen to their patients
