"Midwife care"

My local midwife, Vaila, was amazing. She really listened to how I felt, was really empathic and gave good solutions to problems that came up during my pregnancy. I always felt like my option and feelings mattered and she also brought a touch of humour to our appointments. Vaila was also amazing with my 2 year old son when he was in appointments with us, making him feel welcome and interacting with him.

I'm so glad Vaila got to meet our new baby at our home when she did our home visit. 

I can't recommend her enough.

I also had great care while at Aberdeen Maternity Unit, all staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the night staff who made sure we couldn't want for anything.

I had a c section at Aberdeen, Moira and Grace in theater were great at keeping me calm and relaxed while I had the spinal and during delivery they gave me heaps of information on what was happening and answered any questions I had.
