"Everything you'd want from a hospital experience"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I had badly lacerated my thumb.  After a long night at Hairmyres A&E, I was referred to Orthopedics at Wishaw.  At my 9am appointment with Orthopedics, they examined my injury and sent me up to the Trauma team for day surgery under local anaesthetic.  Within a couple of hours I had been operated on and discharged.

All the staff I encountered at Wishaw were incredible.  Assuring, knowledgeable, pro-active, kind and efficient.  So impressive and everything you'd want from a hospital experience. Thank you!
