"Vulgar Unacceptable Treatment"

About: Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Not that I have a choice, but never become physically disabled. Currently in the Emergency Department with a bladder blockage, the blockage has been since midnight- 111 and 999 of no help (that's not this Hospitals fault).

However I phoned ahead for the hoist needed etc to be able to be moved to an air flow bed (how simple you would have thought) receive treatment in the first place - spoke with person in charge, Site Management staff twice and still hours of being sat in my wheelchair in the most horrific of pain - The consequences of not dealing with this blockage can be life threatening, not to mention not being moved for hours, possible sores and skin tissue viability!!

Hours and hours have now spent.......

Almost 9 hours, Perhaps it would be proactive and less painful to purchase my own hoist, risk assess manage and conduct a health and safety course and pat test equipment.

If the reply is please contact pals to record- No thanks this hospitals answer will be - we are sorry and have put in place regulations - that does not help my suffering nor what I was made to endure.
