"They have been helping me so much with my recovery"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department Craigavon Area Hospital / Orthopaedics

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I arrived in Craigavon Area Hospital ED due to shattering my arm. My time in ED was a hectic one as I came in at one of the busiest times there is to come in.

There was one nurse Sophie who took really good care for me felt as if she had treated me like family it was that good. When I was in there and was waiting for the doctor to come around and see me I had mention to Sophie that I started to become quiet peckish. She had brought down some biscuits and tea for me which I thought to be a lovely gesture and she made sure that I was okay even though it was so busy. Everyone is always so quick to complain about ED but my time in there was good I was well looked after which is what you want.

I have only been in Orthopaedic for 3 days so far and it has been great. The staff have been really helpful, they work very hard up in this ward.

They have been working very hard up on this ward. They have been helping me so much with my recovery. I would like to thank them greatly for what they are doing.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience here in Craigavon area hospital.

It is always lovely to receive some positive feedback for the ward as it keeps us all working hard to maintain high standards.

I would like to say a special well done to SN Sophie for attentive care she provided to you and I am sure A and E sisters will pass this onto her.

We wish you a safe speedy recovery

Many Thanks Stephanie Doherty-Conway, Ward sister
