Ironically, this site asks for you to put a date of when you visited the practice. However, due to the fact they continue to take on more patients when clearly they’re already too full, you’ll be lucky if you ever get an appointment ever.
Heaven forbid there’s something serious wrong.
No matter what time you call, you will be in a never end sequence of recorded messages about how they’re only taking emergency calls, or unable to take your call, or that there’s so many people in the queue you have to press 1 to save your spot.
Even after pressing 1, you’ll then not be prioritised and will likely not actually receive a call back that day.
I have actually given up trying to get appointments however have been asked to book my cervical cancer scan. Pressed one and it’s now been and day and a half.
Rather than prioritising new claims in a morning when the lines open, how about making sure the people who called previously are prioritised?
This isn’t the only time I’ve had a problem either. Came for a medical review and it was a student nurse who didn’t know anything and asked me to book an appointment with the GP (what a joke)
Spoke to someone in family planning who was incredibly rude
Went for a blood test and the system was down so they based it on a ‘who was here first?’ Honesty method for appointments despite having to bloody book via an eventbrite ticket system (which is ridiculous in itself)
I’m honestly so disgusted that this service continues I could cry. It is the most useless and pointless practice I’ve ever experienced and I have lived in several counties.
I’ve been here for 6 months and I’m seriously considering going private
I’ve seen several reviews previously replied to regarding the number of patients the clinic has. Please do not reply with this to me as there should be a cut off if you don’t have capacity
