"Gave me hope & a sense of freedom"

About: Promoting Well Being / Access and information service

(as a carer),

I was referred to the Access & Information Social Worker by the District Nurse, as I was under considerable stress in my caring role to my husband.

I thought the Carers Assessment took me places I haven’t been to in a long time. It helped me a lot. I felt so much different after it. I felt a sense of freedom, it gave me hope. Thank you so much Stacey, you are the first person in 5 years that ever asked me how I felt.

I am so very thankful for the difference you have made.  I was so sad when you phoned, but now I have hope.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share some of your experience from your recent Carer's Assessment appointment with one of our Social Work Team in A&I.

We are delighted to hear of the positive impact this has had on you, and I will ensure Stacey and the Team are all made aware of your positive feedback.

I hope your recent assessment brings continued improvement to your situation.

Thanks again. It is very much appreciated and provides a great morale boost to staff to be informed of the positive outcomes they are making for people like yourself.

Take care.
