"Awful 2 week cancer review "

My daughter aged 34 attended today on a 2 week cancer review to be told she had a lump in each breast! We were told by our gp that she would have a scan and biopsy today and get the results ASAP !! Not so attended consultant said yes she needs both scan and biopsy but it could take up to six weeks!! Furious doesn't come close ! He said he could understand our frustration but nothing he could do! So we are now in contact with the spire to pay privately for something we were promised on the nhs!!! 2 week referrals total joke!!
