"Absolutely incredible nurse"

Nurse Fiona was absolutely incredible. In the 5 years I have been attending the Cobridge clinic, I have never met somebody so knowledgeable, professional and highly skilled in everything she did or said.

I came in with a cold sore and a genital wart, as well as for a full screening. I was terrified that I would get some kind of health complications down the line, and I was really hard on myself. But as soon as she confirmed my suspicions, she settled me right down. It was something about her energy that soothed the pain. She explained that a huge majority of people contract it through their lifetime, making (professional) jokes to lighten the mood. She was a joy to chat with, and I had never had such little pain/aftermath from somebody taking bloods.

She had even explained, in depth, how I should do every single screening test. 5 years and not a single nurse had explained that I needed to put the first bit of pee into the urine cup! Just a month before, I had seen a different nurse, who accidentally left a bruise on my arm. I was terrified to have my bloods done at Cobridge again. But when Fiona did it, I didn't even feel it go in or out, and she even managed to talk to me during the blood taking.

An absolutely inspiring woman! Get her a pay rise for her skills alone!
