About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Blossom Ward (Paediatrics)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I brought my son over to the children’s ED earlier in the week, it wasn’t too busy as it was very early in the morning. We got seen right away and got offered a bed in blossom to rest, which I was very thankful for as we were both very tired. The staff in blossom have all been very nice and talk away which is great, the care that is being provided to my son is amazing, and I’ve had no issues or concerns. The cleanliness on the ward is never a problem I’ve never seen a part of the hospital as clean before, the cleaners work really hard to keep the place clean. The food hasn’t been too bad I don’t mind it but my son doesn’t really enjoy it he’s constantly asking me to go to the shop.
