"Feedback for the amazing midwife"

I gave birth at tameside hospital. I just wanted to give feedback for the amazing midwife who delivered my baby. Allandra was working under extreme pressure as the labour ward only had 3 midwives on instead of 6. There were emergencies most of the night but Allandra and a student midwife called Kate were absolutely fantastic at helping me to have a very positive birth experience. I felt extremely well cared for. They listened to my concerns following a previous difficult instrumental birth and talked me through the best way to avoid a delivery like that again. They gave me lots of information on pain relief and were just incredibly supportive and caring at my most vulnerable. I would go as far as to say I enjoyed my labour because of them. Kate who is a first year student was amazing. I would never have guessed she was a first year. She took direction from Allandra and performed examinations on me with confidence. 

I just wanted to provide good feedback in the hope this gets back to them so they know how much I appreciate my birth experience and the level of care they provided me.
