From beginning of Feb 2022 I had the unfortunate news I had bowel cancer. Thankfully having been early diagnosed, i was fortunate enough to receive the best care and support straight from day 1. I cannot commend the staff enough for the amazing work they do with the urgency, efficiency and compassion they give.
However after further investigations i later found out i had it also in my lung. Devastated by this the support that they provided me was first class and they have been there for me throughout my journey. I had a recent operation to remove the cancer from my bowel, my surgeon (absolute gentleman) only had my best interests at heart.
The specialist nurses i have are true, "real angels" who deserve medals and I truthfully can state they have been empathetic, compassionate and very professional in the way they do their magic guiding you on you way. I am now in recovery and healing very well from surgery.
Within the next few months I will then continue on my way to receive surgery to remove the cancer from my lung. I have had moments where I was low, angry, sad, a mixture of emotions, but in all honesty it's been the strength of these amazing wonderful people that don't really get the credit they deserve that has kept me going. You know who you are and I want to thank you all from bottom of my heart for everything you done making it positive and possible life changing future for me.
I'm not really religious but God bless these people and those fortunate enough to get the treatment I've received, keep up the excellent work you guys 😇
