(as a service user),

The use of latex balloons on publicly accessible displays in canteen and atrium. 

Put at risk of severe allergic reaction . Is there not an alternative that could be used?

I am sorry to see this has caused you anxiety with the possibility of an allergic reaction to patients and /or staff who may have allergies.
