(as the patient),

I attended the clinic today to have a coil fitted, I had two lovely healthcare professionals called Jo and Jess. They both made me feel very at ease, talked me through the process and helped to make what is an uncomfortable thing, quite a pleasant experience.

I was given all the information that I needed to make an informed decision and at all times I knew that, if I needed to, I could ask them to stop or pause- I didn’t need this as they were very considerate and thoughtful in regards to my physical and mental well-being throughout.
