"Dermatology care at Barnstaple"

This was my first experience of the Dermatology unit of North Devon District Hospital. I was impressed by their efficient phone calls before my appointment to excise a BCC and talking to real human people.

 On arrival, everyone was very calmly helpful and I only waited a few minutes.  I was warmly greeted and briefed before going into the surgery room, which was fully staffed and organized. Different members of the team explained what would happen and Dr Waterfall expertly and efficiently removed my BCC painlessly, before leaving his team to dress the wound and tell me what to expect. The whole experience was friendly and reassuring. I jokily thanked them all for such Royal treatment - and I really meant it. Many thanks.
