(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Accident and emergency was very fast as I got sent to DAU, it was great and the care was very good.

The staff there were fantastic.

Female surgical is fantastic it is spotless. The food is not the best it needs flavour although there is plenty of food on the plate. The place is not too noisy apart from the machines but we need those to stay alive and the lighting is 100%.

The staff cannot do enough for you, they are all great. There were some real standouts in the nurses and healthcare assistants. They ensure the care we receive is top class and very personal. However, I did have a procedure carried out and I felt the staff member was rough when doing it. I reported this so it has been taken care of.

The only thing that needs improved is privacy, the person beside me was having a procedure carried out and that was not something I needed to hear/see.

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback on Care Opinion. I am so glad you had the confidence to raise issues regarding your care with staff and it was dealt with at the time. Unfortunately due to the layout of the ward with open bays procedures do need to take place at the bedside, we do try and maintain privacy but appreciate it can be uncomfortable experience for all patients.
