About: Princess Alexandra Eye Pavillion

(as a service user),

After a long wait due to covid my Mum underwent cataract replacements.  My Mum has underlying sight issues and was very anxious and found it hard to process information - the team managed this without patronising or rushing her. Thank you to the theatre team who made her laugh and the post op ward team who kept her in cups of tea.  Overall the team were kind, considerate and efficient and this intervention has made a huge difference to my Mum's quality of life. Thank you
