"Very comforting experience "

About: St Richard's Hospital

I recently underwent surgery for a hernia repair. I have to say the care from every single member of staff that I received was beyond excellent. From the nurses who took my pre-op appointment, the nurses who welcomed me on the day of the op and situated me, the anaesthesiologist, the surgeon and the recovery nurses. They were all so lovely. They were calm, professional and extremely warm towards me. No doubt they see dozens of people every day but they didn’t make me feel like just another name on the list. I’m usually such a wimp with these types of things and I am so grateful to all the wonderful staff who made me feel completely at ease. Thank you!
