"Maternity"

I recently gave birth at altnagelvin in April. Throughout my pregnancy I was under the care of Dr Glackin. Which was of the highest standard. With my previous history I was very anxious but Dr glackin made the whole experience stress free.  Once I was admitted to be induced the care I received from Kelly in the antenatal ward was brilliant. It turned out I needed an emergency section. Kelly and the 2 doctors Christine and Stella were fantastic. I was very nervous they all put me at ease. Also Joan the sister on the delivery suite.

Once my daughter was safely delivered. The care on the postnatal ward was fantastic. I really wanted to breastfeed and all the staff I came across were fantastic. Especially shonagh she gave me so much encouragement and advice. I'm now 6 weeks into my breastfeeding journey.
