Just wanted to say that the help and care I have not received is beyond ridiculous. My GP put me on medication for my mental health and I have been on those meds for the last 6 or 7 years. I put in my repeat prescription to be delivered to a new pharmacy which the GP was aware of. When I asked for my prescription, I was told it wasn’t there. I rang the GP surgery who said there had been a mistake and that it would be sorted. The ‘new’ prescription was completely wrong, and the medicine provided to myself – a suicidal mental health patient - was extremely dangerous, the results could have been horrifying and potentially life-threatening. I explained this to the surgery, but they did not seem to care. I have rung again today but the receptionist spoke over me constantly and I was made to feel that it was my fault although I have done nothing wrong.
I still do not have my medication and have now been without them for a week, I can not go out and am scared to leave the house.
Previously, I had spoken with my GP and asked for more help with my mental health. I was referred to the Charleston centre, I spoke to someone one time and have now been discharged! How is that care? No help!
