I cannot recommend the maternity service at NGH highly enough. I spent 5 days in hospital recently giving birth to my daughter and spent time on labour ward, and The post natal ward and the standard of care went above and beyond.

I didn’t get the textbook planned birth (who does?) but I felt so safe and included at every step of the way. Everyone was supportive and professional despite the NHS being overstretched. I always felt there was time for me.

My daughter arrived safely and I felt well supported in the recovery period.

Thank you to the midwifes, doctors and MSWs that work so tirelessly.
