(as a service user),

We attended minor injuries at A&E at RHC. We were taken through to the cubicle where you could hear it was very busy. I always worry that we’re wasting people’s time and adding to an already overstretched system.

We saw Dr Toner and she was absolutely lovely. She didn’t make us feel like time wasters, she did a very thorough check and she was great with my daughter. Really appreciate her care and time.

I am sorry to hear you recently attended minor injuries with your daughter, I hope she is feeling better.

I am pleased to hear Dr Toner was great with your daughter and that you are appreciative of her care. Even when the department is busy all of our patients deserve the best care so I am glad you feel this way.

As the Lead Nurse for ED I have passed on your comments to Dr Toner and the staff within ED. We love to hear our patient's stories so thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience.
