"All the members of staff up on the ward are wonderful"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 4 North Surgical Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department Northern Ireland Ambulance Service

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I’ve been on this ward for a week now and I was admitted over to the hospital via an ambulance. The ambulance arrived within an hour or so and the emergency department was busy. All the paramedic staff where lovely and friendly, which was great. I stayed in ED for one night and then someone brought me up to 4 north. All the members of staff up here are wonderful there such a hard working group of people, and I’m very thankful to be in their company during my hospital journey. The food has not been great, especially the dinners and lunches I think the breakfast is okay, as it is similar to what I would eat at home. The idea of adding a toilet into one of the bays is good as there wouldn’t be as many people using it and it would be hopefully cleaner. As some times the toilet facilities on the ward can get very dirty at times due to all of the patients having to share.
